Our Services

  • Conventional Balage Wrapping

There are several important steps in making balage, the first of which starts on each property.

Poor pasture will make poor quality harvested feed.

Paddocks should be clean when shut for balage or hay and cleared of any obstructions like fallen branches from trees, wood or stakes. These can damage our machinery and you may be charged for repairs.

Balage is made a lot earlier than hay, (before Christmas) when the grass is lush and green and at a much younger growth stage.

We then cut, rake, bale, and wrap your conventional bales of balage.

Convenient size to handle, no heavy machinery required. but they can weigh 30-40kg.

Balage has a higher sugar and protein content (metabolise-able energy ME).

    Can be stored outside.
